    Daphne combines the dynamics, response and harmonic distortion of a tube amplifier with the flexibility of a modern overdrive pedal. Its internal high-voltage circuit provides an exceptionally direct and natural playing feel. AMP VOICING allows Daphne to be perfectly matched to clean or already overdriven amplifiers.

FEATURES

  • At the heart of DAPHNE is an internal high-voltage circuit with three FET gain stages. It delivers the open dynamics, immediate response and harmonic overdrive of a classic tube amplifier.
  • The GAIN switch selects between LOW GAIN and HIGH GAIN, from dynamic crunch to powerful, singing overdrive without changing the pedal’s fundamental character.
  • AMP VOICING perfectly matches DAPHNE to the amplifier being used: CLEAN for clean amps and DRIVE for already overdriven or distorted amps.
  • The TIGHT switch tightens the low-end response and provides a more precise attack. BASS, MIDDLE and TREBLE allow flexible and finely tuned sound shaping.
  • The mechanical True Bypass uses a dedicated muting circuit for virtually pop-free switching.

AMP VOICING – OPTIMIZED FOR EVERY AMP

The AMP VOICING switch tailors DAPHNE’s tonal response to the amplifier being used. It does not change the gain range; instead, it changes how the pedal interacts with a clean or already overdriven amp.

From dynamic crunch to singing high gain, the sound remains transparent, punchy and expressive. Every nuance of your picking and every adjustment of the guitar’s volume control is translated immediately.

CLEAN – INTO A CLEAN AMP

In the CLEAN position, DAPHNE takes on an open, brilliant and exceptionally lively character. The additional upper frequencies provide clarity, presence and the immediate response of a cranked tube amp when used with a clean amplifier.

From dynamic crunch to singing high gain, the sound remains transparent, punchy and expressive. Every nuance of your picking and every adjustment of the guitar’s volume control is translated immediately.

DRIVE – INTO AN OVERDRIVEN OR DISTORTED AMP

In the DRIVE position, the upper frequencies are carefully adjusted. This keeps the sound balanced when used with an amp that is already breaking up or distorted, preventing it from becoming harsh or overly bright.

DAPHNE blends organically with the existing amp tone, adding gain and sustain while preserving definition, dynamics and the amplifier’s individual character.

CLEAN and DRIVE are intended as starting points – always choose the setting that works best with your amp and your personal sound.

FAQ

Power Supply Notice:
For noise-free operation, we recommend using a stabilized, well-shielded power supply. Some digital power supplies, especially those with insufficient shielding, may cause hum or high-pitched noise.

When using a multi-output power supply, the outputs should be galvanically isolated from each other.

Any noise issues do not originate from the pedal itself, but are usually caused by an unsuitable power supply or an unfavorable device combination. It is possible that a power supply works perfectly with one pedal but produces noise with another.

If noise occurs, we recommend the following test:
Connect the pedal directly to the amplifier, do not connect a guitar, and power the pedal using a separate power supply. When switching the pedal on, only operation or gain-related switching and control noises should be audible, no hum and no high-pitched noise. This test is an effective way to check the pedal independently of the rest of the signal chain.
