What else can you say about Luke's sound? He has played the GAS-789SL for years and now also the SL-OD Overdrive in front of his overdriven / distorted amplifiers to make the sound even faster, more smooth overdrive sounding without changing the basic sound.
Here comes the new LUKE OD Overdrive in a small box. Level, tone, drive control, overdrive (low gain and high gain) which can be selected by using a toggle switch, Bass boost to push the low frequencies without the sound becoming muddy which can be activated using a toggle switch. Smallest dimensions: (W x D x H): 2.3 x 4.3 x 1.3 inch, fits on every stage board.
100% the same overdrive sounds as the SL-OD Overdrive (3-way pedal).

Comment *Nach dem Hot Chili und dem Commander II, bin ich stolzer Besitzer eines Luke OD. Egal vor welchen Amp man ihn spielt, ist das Pedal eine große Bereicherung für einen seidigen, aufgelösten Ton. Obertontreich mit einer gewissen Wärme und Biss. Vor clean, angezerrten oder vollverzerrten Amps macht der Luke OD immer eine gute Figur.
Der Bass-Boost bringt die nötige Fülle im Clean Kanal und wird nicht übertrieben verstärkt.
Für mich das beste Pedal aus dem Hause Rodenberg!!!
Ausgiebig getestet wurde der Treter an folgenden Amps:
Marshall JMP 50 – 2204, JCM 800 – 2205 und JCM 900 – 4500.
Nun klingt auch der 900er mehr als ordentlich.
Im Live-Betrieb wird er einen 800er / 2205 im Boostmodus anpusten.
